Padric and Shannon could not have asked for a better day to elope on a sailboat in St. Pete. When Shannon first asked me what I thought of the idea I was So excited! I love being on the water and eloping on a sailboat during sunset is very romantic. Shannon wanted to spruce it up a little so she had a blush rustic flower crown and bouquet made by 2 Birds Events which turned out fantastic!
I really wanted to capture the sailing experience and I’m so glad that Padric and Shannon were up for my suggestions. If you’re eloping on a sailboat you have to have awesome photos!

“My husband and I eloped on a sailboat, at sunset from St. Petersburg, FL. We hired Joy and she was fantastic to deal with from the very first conversation onward. We knew she had a creative eye based on her previous work, but we had no idea how valuable her yoga skills and awesome sense of adventure would be. Balancing to take photos on a sail boat was more challenging than we had initially imagined. Not only was she totally up for the challenge but the pictures turned out incredible. The lighting, the angles, the setup of each shot, the variety of photos she took… we were more than impressed at how she captured our special evening. She is a VERY talented photographer. Consider yourself lucky if she is available to photograph your event!”
