Walking through the Post Card Inn doesn’t just make you feel as if you’ve gone back in a retro era, but with the interactive elements you become part of it. Located off the road in the small oceanside town of St. Pete Beach, you drive up to the Post Card Inn and it feels like the exact place The Beach Boys would dream of finding those surfer girls they sang about so often. It’s chill vibe and vintage decor really bring together the playful ambiance of a 1960’s beach front surfer getaway. From the old film photos hanging on the guest room walls, the numerous surfboards, old worn sticker-clad suitcases, to the hundreds of used license plates hung around the poolside bar, no detail is left behind. If this isn’t enough to get your bags packed and wedding venue booked, they are also very dog friendly and have the cutest welcome area for pups next to the check-in.
As far as unique wedding venues in Tampa Bay go, this is by far one of my favorites. Couples get to stay in their own vintage themed bungalow rooms with easy access to the pool and beach areas. For outdoor lovers you have the option to get married on their private white sand beach or in their stunning green garden surrounded by a lush tree canopy. If you like the indoor ceremony option they have a spacious garage with three doors that can be opened to let in that lovely Florida sunshine. The property is large and beautifully decorated so there are plenty of creative vintage and classic locations to take some amazing wedding photos. The reception and cocktail hour can take place in the aesthetic garden, beach side tiki hut or the elegant upstairs ballroom. String lights adorn most of the open spaces bringing on more ambiance for the evenings. I think one of the coolest things about this venue is that there is no lack of fun for your bridal party and guests. You are surly going to have a great time during your stay with ping pong and pool tables, volleyball courts, two bars, corn hole, a swimming pool, a fire pit, and board games with ample area to sit. Plus, with beach access you’re walking distance to that famous Florida crystal blue water 24/7.
