I feel very fortunate at this time in our history and constant negative news that I get to capture love stories for a living. Real love stories about real people. None of the couples you see on my website are ‘styled shoots’ or models. These are normal people who for a day get to be all about each other. When clients come to me and say, “I love the way you bring out emotion in your photography!” I usually smile and reply, “it’s not about me.” The emotion you see isn’t something that I create, it’s something within each of us. It’s letting down your guard and being completely vulnerable with another person. It’s taking a minute to stop working or stop planning and just be present. It’s looking your partner in their eyes and really looking at them in appreciation of who they are.
It’s not about me, I’m just there to tell the stories the best way I know how.
