Many couples in Florida who are not having a destination wedding tend to avoid the beaches and look for a green landscape. Marie and Garrett wanted a garden theme where guests could enjoy the outdoors while also having room to enjoy the dance floor. Mixton Farms caught Marie’s attention because she loved the open reception pavilion and the beautiful chandeliers. This was a wonderful option for their fall garden themed wedding.
This garden wedding venue also is part of a working fruit farm stand that offers wine. The wine comes directly from the fruit orchard and has a built in rustic themed bar area in the reception space. The fruit wines are very unique to Florida and a fun addition that your wedding guests will enjoy. The property has many great locations for beautiful wedding portraits. I loved the lush Areca Palms and bamboo that surround the property making for a vibrant backdrop for the bridal portraits.
