This lovely Dunedin backyard wedding starts with a story that I hear too often and it truly makes me frustrated: “Photographer was hired and canceled at the last minute or photographer did not deliver my photos.” Couples Beware – please, please get to know your photographer and read reviews. Find their social media and friend them and make sure they do this for a living. It makes me sad that there are photographers out there who treat couples this and still have a wedding photography business.
These two sweet people hired a wedding photographer and the week of their wedding that person canceled with no refund and no back up plan. UGH. Luckily, they called me. I had that day open and wanted to help them in any way that I could.
This was another Covid style backyard wedding in Dunedin FL and I’m kind of getting used to the smaller events. The ceremony was short and sweet with some close family before we went to a local Dunedin park to take the wedding portrait photos. One challenge with photography that I really love is trying to make something epic our of an average location. The tall trees and vines in this park made it look like a tropical jungle and I could angle my lens just enough to cut out the children on the playground behind them. Everything turned out great and I’m glad I could help these two have amazing photos on their wedding day.
