Anthony and Brittany learned a little more about me during their engagement session at Hillsborough River State Park. As much as I love the outdoors and hiking I am really afraid of alligators. So of course I was overjoyed shooting their engagement photos in Tampa at a state park with a very high population of my favorite creature. No but really, I was actually excited about the hiking part. Plus, Hillsborough River State Park is beautiful! We don’t get many unique places like this in Florida so when a couples asks me to photograph at a location other than a beach I’m open to the change.
If you love outdoors then you’d love this Tampa Bay location for your engagement session. There are plenty of trails and old wooden bridges to get some really great photos. Plus, the trees off a little bit of shade on the hot days.
Brittany and Anthony were really cute and had no problem getting by the edge of the water or walking on an old bridge to get the view I was looking for. They wore coordinating colors which I love! Pro tip: you don’t have to match exactly, instead you can wear complimenting colors.
You’ll see more of these two next year, but for now enjoy some of their Hillsborough River State Park Engagement Session highlights!
